Change Text File Output Format Properties on the Options Tab
The Options tab is specific to the Text File output format and enables users to specify the following parameters when exporting data for the Text File output format.
File Format: the file format to use when exporting data: either Text, CSV, RTF or Excel.
File Directory: the directory to export Text Files created with ClicknDECiDE Builder to.
Default Extension: the file extension to use by default when creating Text files, if the user does not specify an extension.
File Filter: file formats to display for the file you want to export data to.
For example: Text Files (*.txt)|*.txt|| will be the filter used when exporting data to a Text file format and will display the text "Text Files (*.txt)" as the target file name in the Open dialog box. This will be the text in front of the "|" (pipe)character. The *.txt extension will be used. This is the extension specified between the first "|" and the second one. The list must finish with a double-pipe "||".
If you want to propose several filters, you can use the following example:
Text Files (*.txt)|*.txt|RTF files (*.rtf)|*.rtf||
Rule: a pipe "|" separates each item and a double-pipe "||" indicates the end of the list.
See the provided format such as Word (RTF) to see how it has been configured.
