Cross Table Assistant - Step 3 on 3:

Build your dynamic cross table by moving the required fields from the right window to the 3 left areas, thus defining what will be the columns information, the rows information and the data information.

In the above example, we will place the field COUNTRY on the Columns area, the field CUSTNAME on the Rows area and the field TOTAL in the Data area. By default, the TOTAL field is grouped by the SUM function, giving automatically the sum of the TOTAL field for each customer and each country.

Click on <Previous> to go back to Step 2 or to <Finish> to build the cross table and see the result

Depending on the field type (alphanumeric, numeric, date, time or timestamp) you can be prompt to specify how to group the values (for a date field for example). You can also double click on the selected field to modify the group function. For more details, click on Group field or Data field.
