Cross Table Data Properties

Properties selecting the Data area:

If you select any part of the Data area before clicking on the command <View> <Properties>, the following dialog box will appear:

In the above dialog box the Alias represent the field name used in the data area for that level or the Group function if it has been defined (example CountVal, Min, Max, Sum etc.).

The Group by information display the function used for that field but you can modify it selecting another function in the combo-box list.

The Format option is not defined by default but you can change it to specify the format according to the field type or enter a customized format, for example #,### for a numeric value to get a comma separator for the thousand or enter a specific date format.

The Decimal option (for a numeric field) is set by default to Auto, but you can ask for a specific number of decimal.
