Show Detail command (Layout menu)

 

Once you got the result in a Cross Table worksheet, you can sometimes wish to show one or several detailed information in a sub level.

To do so, select first the level whose detail must be displayed and click on the command <Layout> <Show Detail> or on the corresponding icon on the Cross Table toolbar.

The selected level can be all the columns or all the rows or only one or several columns or one or several rows.

 

How to show detail only for one or several columns or rows?

(Here the example concern the Adult row)

 

If we have a cross table with condensed information as in the following result:

You can show the detail for any row or any column making a double click on the concerned row or column as in the following example: (or you can select the concerned row or column and then click on the Show detail icon).

The result will be detailed information only for the required level as follow:

How to show detail for all the columns or rows?

(Here the example concern the Adult row)

 

If we have a cross table with condensed information as in the following result, you can select all the rows by clicking on the upper arrow on the top of the cross table, above that the Family level as in the following example:

Then click on the command <Layout> <Show Detail> or on the corresponding icon <Show Detail> to get the following result :
