Parameter: Update Method
A parameter will be a modifiable criterion whose value(s) is defined when running the query. It is like a dynamic criterion. The update method can be:
By default, that method is not defined, but you can chose among:
If that method remains undefined, a default message will ask the value to be used at the run time.
When running the query, a dialog box is displayed only for the following methods :Input, Input List or Input Query List. You can also specify if several values are accepted or not, choosing among Single, Multiple or Extended selection option (All, Single, Multiple or Extended) defined for each parameter.
You can then validate the choice with OK, or cancel the process or ignore the parameter if that one has not been declared Mandatory.
Ignore a parameter means accept any value as if no criteria have been defined for the concerned field.
